Established in 1947 as Hyderabad Gold Mines, HGML operates the Hutti Gold Mine, one of the oldest and deepest underground mines in the world. The mine is located in the Hutti-Muski belt of the Raichur district in Karnataka. HGML also operates two satellite mines, Uti and Hirabuddini, in the same region. HGML plays a significant role in gold production in India and contributes to the country’s mineral resources sector.
