Established on June 2, 2014, following the bifurcation of the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh state, the Telangana High Court is located in Hyderabad, the joint capital of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh until Amaravati is fully developed.

The High Court exercises jurisdiction over the entire state of Telangana and deals with a wide range of civil, criminal, and constitutional matters.
